Bundle Turnover

Mark One's Bundle Turnover is used to invert sheetmetal bundles and other heavy or awkward loads. Bundles are loaded by fork truck into the turnover unit. The operator then uses pushbuttons to control the unit cycle. The upper platen is lowered to the bundle; the unit is then rotated 180. The platen is lowered and the rotated bundle is removed.

The Bundle Turnover employs steel plate and structural steel to form a circular fabrication. The fabrication is supported on a set of heavy duty rollers mounted to the base frame. Rotation is accomplished with a hydraulic motor and gear reducer arrangement attached to the drive chain wrapped around the unit. The clamping platen is guided with alloy steel rails and driven up and down with four hydraulic cylinders. An equipment mounted control enclosure houses the control components.
